Skirmish scope & engine log

A complete local practice match in the real Recoil WASM engine. Choose the practice opponent for scripted armor waves, or BARb for the real native AI running in WASM. Both spend normal resources. BARb is restricted to the prepared Armada/Cortex land, air and sea catalog. Repair, reclaim, queues, rally points, LOS, radar and wreckage come from the engine. The browser supplies custom graphics and positional audio using original BAR assets. WebGPU and WebGL2 share the same scene. A private two-browser multiplayer preview is available from the game menu. Internet qualification and the complete desktop BAR interface/effects remain future work.

Space-drag pans on a MacBook. Option/Alt-drag orbits. Scroll zooms. Shift queues commands. Select a factory and right-click terrain to set its rally point. Click × beside an order to cancel it; reclaim an unfinished structure to recover its remaining material. Audio starts only after Enable sound. Map, faction, starting forces, opponent and stress settings apply when you restart the match. Commander-only starts use BAR’s normal commander spawning and 1,000 metal / 1,000 energy per team, against BARb. Patrol, guard, manual fire and native fire/move/repeat/cloak settings appear where supported. Drag an area order to set its radius; a click uses 160 world units. Ctrl/⌘ + 1–9 assigns a control group; a number recalls it, Shift adds it to the selection. Advanced practice starts with T2 factories, a gantry, advanced constructors, fusion power and an army including T3 units, with 12,000 metal / 120,000 energy. Commander-only starts still use normal resources. Advance through a T1 constructor → T2 factory → advanced constructor → gantry. Reclaim an old extractor before placing its T2 replacement. Attack ground lets artillery and stockpile weapons target terrain. Air practice starts with native aircraft, transports, air factories and flak. Naval practice uses Gods of War with shipyards, submarines, surface fleets and underwater fusion. Load targets a visible unit; enemy commanders are immune. Unload targets an area. Select Aircraft or Fleet to command only that force. Legion and the complete native interface remain future work.
